School Readiness Program

School Readiness Group

Currently, Applied Behavior Analysis is one of the only empirically validated interventions used to create and support the learning curriculum and environments for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Through our academic training, group sessions and One on one sessions, we prepare the kids to move out to an inclusive school. We focus on increased sitting span,  undivided attention, following group instructions, social awareness, comprehension skill and academic skills. Academic targets will be included in the IEP, once the foundational skills are strong. In Academic targets, we include the basics of reading, writing, maths and comprehension. The skills taught at Be Change Centre reduces the task difficulty of their school curriculum.
